Urban Massing Model
Introduction
The goal of an urban massing model is to roughly approximate the urban texture -- i.e., the form and layout. This is useful for urban planners and architects to study how buildings affect each other, for example, the shadows cast by a building. For this assignment, I created an urban massing model of a suburban neighbourhood design in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
